You aim to provide support and value for your members. You’re always on the look out for new ways to do this.
Offering online professional development workshops nicely rounds out hosting in person events and sharing blog posts with useful information.
Workshops designed for working artists
Choose from a selection of workshops that teach artists specific skills to improve their art business. They’re applicable to both commercial and fine artists.
All workshops are offered live online, over Zoom or your preferred platform.
Workshops are professionally designed to achieve stated outcomes, and focus on audience engagement and interaction. These are not passive presentations, they’re active sessions.
My workshops run from 1-3 hours.
They range in price from $500-$1000.
Please get in touch for:
- The full description and learning objectives of each workshop.
- Run time and prices.
- A topic you’re interested in but don’t see. I’m happy to build a custom workshop for your specific audience.

Courage for Creatives
Anxious about trying something new?
Worried about being in an art show or gallery?

Designing Your Days – Mundane to Masterpiece
Feel like your days fly by with nothing to show?
Spend hours mindlessly scrolling instead of doing your important work?
You’re not alone. And there is help!
If you don’t have a daily routine, or you lost track of your last one, it’s time to build a new one. Having a daily routine reduces decision fatigue and helps your body and mind get into a comfortable rhythm. As long as it meets your unique needs, it can be the key to enhancing your productivity.
You’ll leave understanding what’s important to you in a daily routine and with ideas about how to handle what’s been stopping you from starting your daily routine. You’ll also learn the 3 keys to making a daily routine work for you.
Worried you’re just not a routine person? You don’t have to plan every minute of your day to create a structure that supports your work! (but you can if that’s your thing)

What people are saying about Alisa’s workshops
We know this, but we often hope otherwise: learning happens best when there is interactivity, participation, and collaborative conversation. Alisa’s session on Courage for Creatives exemplified this kind of learning at it’s most effective.
Passive listening or observing is okay. Sometimes you pick up a few things, but when you do it, talk about it, put it in practice, it really sticks and changes you. That’s what this interactive and participatory workshop did for me.

We were thrilled to welcome Alisa Singh as a guest speaker for our recent event, Sketching Success: Quarterly Planning for Artists. Alisa brought clarity, energy, and practical insight to a topic that can often feel overwhelming for creative professionals.
What stood out was her ability to make planning tools feel accessible and relevant. One participant noted, “I liked that she used an example from one of the participants which made the spreadsheet functionality easier to understand.” Her thoughtful approach helped attendees see how these tools could be applied directly to their own art practices.
The interactive nature of the workshop also received positive feedback, with another attendee sharing, “I did like the interactive nature of the workshop.”
Alisa’s engaging style encouraged meaningful participation and reflection—key to a productive planning session.
We’re grateful for her contribution and look forward to future opportunities to collaborate.

I really appreciate Alisa’s templates and the way she presents them. Also the way she includes examples to show me how to respond to the questions.
The examples are real world and relatable. Without them I would have just left the template blank! The questions and the examples forced me to think in more directions than I would have on my own.

Thank you very much for your presentation to the Artists’ Network tonight. You engaged our members and they really appreciated the tangible information that you provided.
You are an excellent presenter and very good at leading workshops. I think those members who attended tonight learned a lot and have a beginning to a Q3 plan.

FAQs
Step one, get in touch! You can email me at alisa @ alisasingh . com
If there’s a particular workshop you want to know more about, I’ll provide all the info you need. Usually, you handle the scheduling and inviting of participants. If the event is open, I’m happy to invite my community along too.
We can use your contract, or mine, as long it meets both of our requirements.
I accept payment via cheque, etransfer (Canada only), credit card, or Wise transfer.
If this is the first time you’re hosting an online workshop, I can walk you through the best practices.
It happens. If you’re interested in one of my workshops, get in touch anyway! Email me at alisa @ alisasingh . com
We can discuss which topic you’re interested in and plan for a future date when you do have room in your budget.
I’m happy to help you prep your presentation for the Board. We can cover why professional development is valuable to your members and community, how these specific topics help artists, and the value to your organization of hosting online workshops.
Or I’m happy to speak with them directly, if appropriate.
There are a few ways to get a clearer picture of this:
- Run a survey of your members to find out if they want it, and what topics they’re most interested in. You can do this for free using Google Forms.
- Speak directly to a series of your members and ask if they’re interested.
- Book a workshop, set a registration minimum and deadline, find out how many people register. If few people register, the session is canceled and you will have learned a few things along the way. (I don’t take payment until after the workshop, so there is no financial cost to you)
I can help you with any of these methods if you like.
