You know what you want to make. So why isn’t it getting done?
It’s not a talent problem. It’s not even a time problem, not really.
It’s a structure problem.
Nobody teaches artists how to manage a creative practice. How to plan a realistic quarter. How to break big goals into weekly tasks. How to stay consistent when motivation dips, distractions pile up, and life gets in the way.
That’s the gap Momentum Studio closes.
What is Momentum Studio?
Momentum Studio is a 3-month group coaching and online coworking program designed specifically for visual artists: painters, illustrators, photographers, sculptors, and graphic designers building a creative business.
It has two core components that work together:
Accountability For Artists Structured peer accountability and quarterly planning, every other week
Coworking For Creatives Dedicated online coworking sessions to get your work done, every week
Together, they give you the planning, the accountability, and the dedicated time to actually follow through.
Every other week ~90 min
Accountability For Artists
Most artists are working alone, without a sounding board, without external deadlines, and without anyone measuring their progress.
Accountability For Artists changes that.
Each 3-month cycle begins with Sketching Success, an in-depth quarterly planning workshop where you’ll map your goals for the year and choose what you’ll focus on for the next 3 months. That work gets broken into monthly milestones and weekly tasks, so every week you know exactly what to do next.
Then, every other week, your small peer group meets with Alisa to:
Review your progress against your goals
Clear obstacles and solve problems from multiple perspectives
Give and receive feedback on your work
Access the collective wisdom of a mastermind built for creatives
Your peers are fellow visual artists and creative entrepreneurs. They understand the specific challenges of building a creative business, the isolation, the feast-and-famine cycles, the struggle to balance making and marketing.
What changes with real accountability:
Self-imposed deadlines stop slipping. You understand your own capacity for work. You feel confident you’re doing the right things at the right time. The overwhelm shrinks.
Every week 1 hour
Coworking For Creatives
Having a plan is one thing. Executing it is another.
Coworking For Creatives gives you a dedicated weekly session to show up and do your work, with others doing the same thing alongside you. No agenda, no discussion (unless you want it). Just focused work time, every week.
Use the sessions for:
Making progress on your main project
Client outreach and follow-ups (easier with company)
Admin tasks you’ve been avoiding: invoices, emails, bookkeeping, etc.
Anything on your list that needs a block of focused time
Once a month, one session becomes a Make Art For Fun date. A reminder that you’re an artist first, and making art for joy is part of the work too.
What changes with a weekly rhythm:
You build the consistency and focus your creative practice has been missing. You train yourself to work in structured time blocks. You deepen connection with your Accountability peers.
You look back at the past quarter and wonder where it went
You’re working hard but can’t see much to show for it
You struggle with consistency, follow-through, or finishing what you start
You’re working in isolation and craving connection with other creatives
You’re taking on a big project and need support to see it through
You have a pile of unfinished work and need help closing it out
This is not a course. You won’t passively absorb lessons you may never apply.
Momentum Studio is about actively doing the work, with structure, support, and peers who understand exactly what you’re building.
How It Works
Week 1: Sketching Success (2 hours)
Map your goals, choose your focus for the quarter, and break your work into weekly tasks.
Every Week: Coworking For Creatives (1 hour)
Show up, do your work, build your rhythm.
Every Other Week: Accountability For Artists (~90 min)
Review progress, clear obstacles, get guidance and peer input.
Group sizes are kept intentionally small to ensure every participant gets genuine, personalized attention from Alisa.
Can you join just one component?
Yes. Coworking For Creatives is available as a standalone. Most members find the combination is what creates the real shift.
“The meetings are the most valuable part for me, getting real-time feedback on my questions, wins, and accountability items. Having that consistent regroup makes it feel like I can always get back on track even if I’ve had an off week or two.”
Haley S, Illustrator at Haleyum Illustration & Design
“I am definitely more regular and consistent with taking time to plan because I really see the benefit and a change in my habits because of it.”
Purchasing both components separately costs $746 — Momentum Studio saves you $119.
Discounts available for 6-month commitments, current members, and Accountability For Artists alumni.
Coworking For Creatives only
$64/month or $640/year

From Alisa
I’ve met a lot of artists who have a pretty good idea of where they want to go, but get stuck on the going.
There are plenty of good reasons: not enough time, too many distractions, competing priorities. And underneath most of them? Fear. (Usually it’s fear.)
I get it. I struggle with these things myself.
Sometimes you need someone to lay out the whole path for you. I do that for my 1×1 clients. Other times you need support for walking the path you’re already on. A place to face your challenges with structure, consistency, and people who get it.
I studied Illustration at the post-secondary level and have maintained my own art practice for over 20 years. For the past two years I’ve been coaching artists and creative entrepreneurs. I built Momentum Studio because I wish I had it earlier.
